Meet and Greet, February 24

Our political movement is gaining momentum - in the weeks since the announcement event we’ve received local coverage from the Chicago Defenderand Loyola Phoenix, while gaining national exposure through Blavity

This coverage shows that we’re part of something bigger - something that extends far beyond our city. This election, though, will be won locally: by connecting with voters Budlong Woods, Peterson Park, North Park, Ravenswood, Andersonville, and across the ward.

With that in mind, I want to invite you to the first 40th ward meet-and-greet of my campaign!

This is an opportunity to have real conversations with neighborhood residents like you, talk about the issues you're facing every day, and have a discussion on how I can truly co-govern along with you and other ward residents in the City Council.

Here's the info:

What: Meet and greet with Ugo Okere, candidate for 40th ward alderman
When: Saturday, February 24
Time: 10:00am - 12:00pm
Where: Budlong Woods Library
Address: 5630 N. Lincoln Ave.

This is how movements grow - right here in our own neighborhoods. Tell a friend, bring a neighbor, and I'll see you on the 24th.
